Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is a penicillin-type of antibiotic that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold.
Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by killing the bacteria causing the infection, while Clavulanic acid prevents the bacteria from making a vital material.
Both Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid work effectively to treat your infection, allowing it to continue working effectively for up to 48 hours. However, you may feel better when you take it with a little more effort. Amoxycillin will not work against viral infections and is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.

AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM SYRUP is not recommended in patients with renal impairment or with jaundice.
It should be used with caution in patients with a previous history of infections of the urinary tract or stomach or biliary and pancreatic enzymes.
